Payment Options

Single Direct Debit
  • Make a payment online, or schedule a payment up to 30 days in advance.
  • You can pay directly from your checking or savings account with no fees.
  • Your payment will post to your account within two business days.

Recurring Direct Debit
  • The most convenient, hassle-free way to pay your bill!
  • Sign up for Recurring Direct Debit and your bill will be automatically deducted from your checking or savings account 21 days after the billing date.
Credit Card
  • You can make a one-time payment using Visa or MasterCard.  J P Morgan Chase Pay Connexions, an independent payment processing company, provides this service.
  • You will be charged a convenience fee of $3.50 for each payment up to $500.00 and $3.50 for each $500 incremental payment amount. This fee will be added to your credit card bill. Yankee Gas is not directly affiliated with J P Morgan Chase Pay Connexions and does not receive any portion of the convenience fee. Credit card payment is limited to your balance due amount.
  • Visa and MasterCard payments will be reflected on your Yankee Gas account in one to two business days after your transaction.
  • If your payment is intended to avoid an interruption of service, ensure the appropriate amount will be posted by the payment due date. If you need to restore disconnected service, please contact Yankee Gas at 1-800-989-0900.
Budget Billing
  • A convenient way to manage your monthly bills!
  • Even out your monthly payments over a 12-month period and avoid the seasonal peaks associated with heating and cooling months.
  • Accounts are reviewed monthly and if there is a significant difference, budgeted amount are adjusted if necessary.

Operation Fuel Program
  • Contribute to Operation Fuel Fund and help Connecticut residents who are struggling to pay their electric bill.
  • When checking the $1 option on a Single Direct Debit payment, $1 will be added to your payment amount and your $1 contribution will be transferred to the Operation Fuel Fund.
  • If you decide to contribute monthly, we will automatically add the selected dollar amount to your Yankee Gas bill each month displayed as Operation Fuel donation.
  • Every dollar you contribute is tax-deductible and 100 percent of all donations are used for energy assistance grants.
